Refund Policy
At Mary Kate on Newtown, we take great care to ensure all items are quality-checked and packed carefully before dispatch.
Change of mind returns
If you would like to return an item, please email us at service@marykateonnewtown.store within 7 days of delivery with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.
To be eligible for a change of mind return:
• Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
• Tags must still be attached
• Items must be returned in suitable packaging to avoid damage in transit
Once your return request is approved, you will receive instructions for returning your item by post.
Refund method (store credit)
For change of mind returns, we offer store credit for the value of the returned item(s) (excluding shipping fees).
• Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
• We do not offer exchanges. If you need a different size, please return the item for store credit and place a new order.
Return shipping costs
Customers are responsible for the cost of tracked return postage for change of mind returns.
Faulty or incorrect items
If you receive an item that is faulty or incorrect, please contact us at service@marykateonnewtown.store as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos of the issue.
Where an item is confirmed to be faulty, we will offer a replacement (subject to stock availability). If a replacement is not available, we will provide a refund in line with Australian Consumer Law.
Please note: minor variations such as loose threads or slight print irregularities may occur as part of the manufacturing process and are not always considered faults.
Processing time
Once we receive and inspect your returned item(s), store credit (or a refund for confirmed faulty items where applicable) will typically be processed within 3–5 business days.
