Return Policy

At Mary Kate on Newtown, we carefully check and pack all items before dispatch. If you need to return an item, we’re here to help.

1) Change of mind returns

If you would like to return an item due to change of mind, please email us at service@marykateonnewtown.store within 7 days of delivery with:

• your order number
• the item(s) you would like to return
• the reason for return (optional, but helpful)

Once approved, we will provide return instructions.

2) Return conditions

To be eligible for a change of mind return:

• Item(s) must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
• Tags must still be attached
• Item(s) must be returned with any original packaging and protected for shipping

3) Refund method: Store credit (12 months)

We do not offer exchanges. If you require a different size or style, please return your item and we will issue a store credit for the value of the returned item(s) (excluding original shipping fees).

• Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
• Store credit can be used for any purchase on our website.

4) Return shipping costs

Customers are responsible for the cost of tracked return postage for change of mind returns.

5) Faulty or incorrect items (Australian Consumer Law)

If you receive an item that is faulty or incorrect, please contact us at service@marykateonnewtown.store as soon as possible and include:

• your order number
• clear photos of the issue

Where an item is confirmed to be faulty, we will offer a replacement (subject to availability). If a replacement is not available, we will provide a refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Please note: minor variations such as loose threads or slight print irregularities can occur during production and are not always considered faults.

6) Processing time

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your store credit (or refund for confirmed faulty items where applicable) within 3–5 business days.
